- Client is a manufacturing company in Glendora
- Position is Temp-to-Hire
- Shift is Monday – Thursday from 5:00am – 3:30pm
- Salary is $25 – $27/hour (Depending on experience)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate vertical & horizontal CNC Mill machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to complete the job.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into the machine.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:
- Must be able to operate and setup vertical & horizontal CNC Mill machines.
- Proficiency in CAD software for programming CNC machines preferred.
- Experience operating milling machines and other power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations and measurements.
- Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for different machining operations.
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls is a plus.
- Experience in precision machining using various materials.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
