- Client is an engineering company in El Monte
- Position is Temp-to-Hire
- Shift is Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Salary is $20 – $40/hour (DOE)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve design issues
- Correspond with production and construction workers to clarify design details and receive feedback for improvements
- Along with technical drawings, may be required to provide documentation manuals to assist electrical workers during repair or installation
- Design technical schematics for transmission and distribution lines that deliver electricity to consumers
- Utilizing AutoCAD to create visuals that assist production, installation, and repair of electrical components
- Maintain database by entering data and completing backups
- Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Confer with engineers
- Other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:
- 2-3 years of electrical designing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Must be able to create, edit, and transfer drawings electronically
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organized
