Front Desk Clerk

  • Client is an accounting & tax service company in Glendora
  • Position is Temp-to-Hire
  • Shift is Monday – Thursday from 7:30am – 6:00pm
  • Salary is $17-$19/hour (DOE)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Welcomes clients into the office, offers drinks and provides procedures of the office
  • Answer, hold and transfer calls in a prompt and professional manner
  • Setup appointments through the phone and takes detailed messages
  • Respond to all emails, assign tasks, send newsletters, and invites to webinars
  • Keeps calendar appointments organized, and confirms appointments
  • Request signatures for pending files
  • Invite and add new clients to tax dome
  • Receive and distribute mail accordingly
  • Keep inventory of office supplies
  • Send out thank you cards for referrals
  • Assist in planning birthdays and luncheons
  • General clerical tasks, such as scanning, filing, data entry, labeling, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of receptionist/office experience
  • Strong customer service and phone skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Deadline driven and very organized
