Office Manager

  • Client is a social services organization in Glendora
  • Position is Temp-to-Hire
  • Shift is Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 4:00pm
  • Salary is $20/hour

Job Description:
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee office functions and ensure the day-to-day business operations are completed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payment for all employees.
  • Responsible for completing monthly billing.
  • Complete accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
  • Responsible for the property management of three local homes.
  • Collect rent from tenants.
  • Schedule maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for important documents and records.
  • Ensure that all paperwork and other requirements are met for audits.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Collect mail from the post office.
  • Assist with general administration tasks, such as answering calls, filing, scanning, data entry, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

  • Proven experience with office management, payroll, and HR practices highly preferred.
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience highly preferred.
  • Must be able to pass DOJ background check.
  • Must be comfortable working with intellectually disabled adults.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
