Project Manager Assistant

  • Client is a fire & alarm systems contractor in Glendora
  • Position is Temp-to-Hire
  • Shift is Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Salary is $18 – $23/hour (DOE)

Job Description:
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the VP of Field Operations and Project Manager with day-to-day functions
  • Track status of projects/jobs from design to completion
  • Order material, track costs, and read budgets
  • Request information from customers
  • Reviewing contracts to ensure all needed information is included
  • Assist with contract administration and document preparation
  • Maintain records as required regarding job progress and costs
  • Billing and order review/preparation
  • General administrative duties, such as filing, scanning, data entry, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative/clerical experience preferred
  • Experience within construction is a plus
  • Excellent telephone and email response time and etiquette
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Good attitude with the ability to work in teams
