- Client is a pharmaceutical company in Pomona
- Position is Temp-to-Hire
- Shift is Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Salary is $28 – $35/hour (depending on experience)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Required to work in cooperation with the Quality Control Manager and the Scientific Director
- Evaluate new test equipment, participation in research projects related to optimization or modification of existing manufacturing processes and/or enhanced characterization of manufacturing materials
- Test, inspect, and evaluate incoming raw materials, processed intermediates, and final products according to prescribed Quality Control testing procedures
- In-process inspections of intermediate blends and final products, completion of FDA, ISO, and CE mark required documentation associated with inventory production documents
- This position may cross over into the Research and Development area and function as a Research Chemist
- Other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:
- General knowledge of Chemistry is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or closely related field is preferred
- 3-5 years in a laboratory environment preferably with Quality Control experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and independently
- Demonstrate mechanical ability and proficiency in completion of detailed tasks
